An Exceptional Life!

Kathryn Krebs Vittor of Mobile, AL passed away with family around her bedside on June 10th 2013. Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1918 she was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Adolph and Mary Margaret Krebs; her infant daughter Dolores, as well as the love of her life C. Frank Vittor.

She is survived by Sons: Dr. C. Frank (Nanami) Vittor of Ellicott City, MDl; Dr. Barry A. (Sharon) Vittor of Mobile, AL and John A Vittor of Mobile, AL; 
Daughters: Linda K. (Don) magoffin of Dulzura, CA; Sandra K. Grant of Post Falls, OD; Vera V. Gillis of Mobile, AL; Frances L. Lowe of Sulfolk, VA; Victoria L. Jeric of Richmond, VA; Dr. Virginia J Hulstrand and Anita D. Burt of Apache Junction, AZ

Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren numbering 59, who's birthdays, weddings, and big events never went by without a card and often a phone call. She loved keeping up with everyone from her command center and did an excellent and loving job of it!

Kathryn loved to paint portraits and landscapes and creating sculptures of her loved ones. She and Frank lived in snowy Pennsylvania and moved to sunny San Diego County after the War. Eventually they came to Mobile after Frank retired from teaching. Kathryn loved to keep up with her friends and her ever growing family right up to the day of her passing. A new joy in her live was joining the congregation of Orchard Baptist Church and being baptized again in affirmation of her faith.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday June 15, 2013 at 3PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens.
