I am very lucky to have one of Kay's cookie jars.  She made a lady golfer cookie jar one year for my birthday.

Kay was a very unique person and I am very glad I got to share many years with her & Roger. She had a way of talking me into doing things (I told her she was the artist, not me), but she would say Shirley we can do this so lets get started. Like in The ladies golf association, one year she volunteered us for Thanksgiving decorations and one time at Christmas for the luncheon.  She had me making and decorating stuff that I had no idea how to do, but she would say like this Shirley and we would do it.

She was a good cook, and one year made a cookbook for the ladies golf association.  She ask ladies for some of their favorite recipes and she told me which of my recipes she wanted in there, especially my coconut/pineapple cake. 

I have so may fond memories of things Kay & I did and I am so happy to have them.  

Bob & I both will miss her and cherish our good times we had together with her and Roger.
