His Life

Mr. Summerlin was born in Carrollton, Georgia on January 20, 1981, to LaGail Denney Hodges and Kenneth Bruce Summerlin. Keith was a graduate of Heard County High School, and a much respected employee of the Service Electric Company. His tremendous work ethic and likable personality had elevated him to the position of foreman in his company. He married the love of his life, Amber Chelina Robinson Summerlin and they had three beautiful children, Cadance, Cayla, and Carter. It was clear to all who knew Keith that the most important thing in his life was his family. He was involved in all aspects of their lives, whether it was playing ball, dance recitals, or school functions he was a father that was there for his children and wife. He worked diligently to provide for their needs. What spare time he had he enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, and he especially loved Alabama Football. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother. Even though his life was short he made a tremendous impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Amber Summerlin of Franklin, GA.; children Cadance, Cayla, and Carter Summerlin of Franklin, GA.; mother and step-father, Gail and Paul Hodges of Opelika, AL.; father and step-mother, Kenney and Debra Summerlin of Franklin, GA.; sister, NaTae Nelms of Franklin, GA.; brother, Bryan and Tricia Johnson also of Franklin, GA.; in-laws, Tina and Ray Austin of Franklin, GA, and Dale and Jacque Mayberry of TN.; step sisters, April and Ashley Hodges of Opelika, AL., step-brothers, Kalin Hodges also of Opelika, AL., and Paul Momman of Roanoke, AL.; three sisters-in-law Brittany Rainey of Franklin, GA., Kelsey Cato of TN., and Nicky Long also of TN.; and a number of adoring nieces and nephews.
