KayKay, KayBaby, Kboi, Kcee... Each time I think about you, I am reminded of the times we spent together and the inevitability of death. But you are not dead. You keep living on... Rest on KayKay. I love you, always and forever...

Kaykay at ABSU

August 14, 2016

KayKay was my roommate in my first year at ABSU. I always reffered to him as my best room mate ever. He was everything I wished in a brother, he always looked out for me and gave me advice. We cracked jokes together and shared poetry. Memories flood my head this day...I remember drinking garri with okpa in the hostel and he would prefer to drink the 'omi garri' instead, I remember you changing my name Peter-Ngoo, I remember the jokes we made about 'Seh-duh,' I remember how we would communicate with our eyes and laugh later at someone we found to be weird or did not understand. I remember when I had the appendectomy, you did my laundry, fed me, helped me bathe. You were kind, loving and understanding. Words cannot describe all that you are. You are loved Kaykay. Sleep on.
