Kenneth McCaleb, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully to join our Lord and Savior on September 10, 2015.
Ken was born July 7, 1940 to J.V. and Agatha McCaleb.  He attended Madera High School where he was the school mascot 'Yote the Coyote.'  He graduated in 1958 and has maintained lifelong friendships with many of his high school friends.  Ken served in the Navy on the USS Hancock aircraft carrier.   He enjoyed his career with Farmers Insurance as an agent in Clovis, CA and then later worked with the same company in Bakersfield, CA as a District Manager.   Ken and his wife became motorcycle enthusiasts while living in Bakersfield and traveled to many places on their Harleys.   Ken was always known as a guy with a great sense of humor and made friends everywhere he went.

Ken is survived by his three children,  Patrick McCaleb and wife Meredith of Coarsegold, CA, daughter Kellie Bilow and  husband Todd of Ticonderoga, NY, son Benjamin McCaleb and wife Shelia of Buttonwillow, CA,  seven grandchildren and one great grandson, his 95 year old mother Agatha Daniels, his brother Ted McCaleb and wife Judy of Coarsegold, CA,  sister Patsy Gaynor Adolphson and husband Stan of Fresno, CA,  sister in law Shirley Jensen and husband William of Clovis, CA, brother in law Jerry Britton of Medford, Oregon, many cousins, nephews and nieces.  Ken was preceded in death by his wife Donna of 53 years on May 26, 2015 and his father J.V.  McCaleb.

On behalf of the family,  we wish to thank California Veterans Home of Fresno and St. Agnes Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.  A graveside service will be held at the Clovis Cemetery on Thursday September 17, 2015 at 9:00am.  There will be a reception immediately following at the Adolphson home - 7386 N. "We lived next door to the McCaleb's in Clovis and what an adventure it was!  Ken and Donna treated us like their family and included us in many functions.  We were young and away from our family and could not have asked for nicer neighbors.  We adore their children and they treated our children like their own.  Our deepest sympathy for you Patrick, Kellie and Benjamin.  We love you all!"

"We met Ken and Donna when Kellie moved to Kirksville, Missouri and we became friends and she lived in the upstairs apartment of our house. When Ken and Donna came to visit you knew you were in for a lot of fun and laughter! They loved life and people! They especially loved their children and grandchildren! They would never miss out on an opportunity to talk about their family and how proud they were of them! When Kellie got married Ken beamed with  pride and joy because he was so happy that the Lord was taking care of and blessing his family! Now he is with the Lord for eternity waiting and routing for not just his family but all his friends and loved ones to come to the Lord and to one day join him for eternity in heaven. May time Lord bless you and comfort you in this this time of grieving!
Our thought and prayers are with you! Steve & Patsy Golden"
