Your wings were ready but we were not!!!! 8 years you’ve been gone and I still regret not being able to say goodbye but I hope that you know I’ll love you forever and hope you’re watching me succeed and grow into the woman you’d always hoped I would be! When we lived on lookout Mountain I was in 9th and 10th grade. A boy visited my bedroom window and we talked. He took off to go back to the road and there was Daddy on the front step with his shotgun. I heard the shot and thought "oh my god he killed him!! ". By the time I got to the front door my boyfriend was running up the biggest hill on that road, right past his ride. Needless to say he never came back. My daddy always called me the wild child and I honestly can say I gave him holy hell. But he loved me and tried his best, and I have many good traits from him. Miss ya Daddy.
