His Life

The Center

Kevin was well known by many people throughout the Greater Baltimore area.
I knew Kevin since I was a boy. He was the 'hub' of our social group. The first one to get a driving license. The first to get a car. The first to become legal to buy alcohol. He was the one to go to to find out what's in the works. He always had the 'skinny' on the more dramatic elements of our group. His personal interests overlapped with many other groups and he was a good liason when we would come together. I always thought that he would have been great at working in the Peace Corps or the United Nations. He was always up on the latest news, including local, national and international. There was never a subject that you could not discuss with him. He had rare insight and very stromg convictions. He was the only Irish-Jew that I ever knew. He was unique and also sincere. He would not hesitate to 'tell us like it was', and we would believe him because he was certainly more worldly than us. I think that all who knew Kevin learned something useful from him. I do miss him.
