Her Life
July 27, 2016

Kimberly ("Kimmy") Anne Vining passed away peacefully on the evening of July 26th, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. She is survived by her devoted mother, Constance Mae Vining; loving siblings, Tracy (David) Eckstrand, Robin (Peter) Nowak, and William Vining III; nieces Caitlyn, Alisia & Emma Nowak, and nephew Ty Vining. She is predeceased by her father, William Albert Vining.

Kimmy will be fondly remembered & greatly missed by countless friends & family. Born premature on January 13th, 1963, Kimberly has never ceased to amaze everyone by her resilience and strength. After many months in the ICU, she came home with her parents and lived happily there for the remainder of her life. Despite her developmental disabilities, Kimmy learned to read and write, ride a bicycle, and was an inspiration to all who met her. She was well known around her neighborhood, and became known as the kindest, sweetest, "young girl" anyone would ever meet. After suffering a stroke in 2007, Kimmy recovered and found contentment in watching her daily television programs (Full House, The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie), singing songs while her mom played the piano/keyboard, and practicing her writing skills in her notebooks.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, August 5th, 2016 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Leo M. Bean & Sons Funeral Home, 2771 Chili Avenue. Family & friends are welcome to come during this time to celebrate her life and share fond memories. A private graveside service will be held for family only following the memorial.
