im not sure if i told everybody that kurt actually proposed to me three times. the first time, we were laying in bed and out of the blue , he asked me to marry him.. I thought he was joking and wasnt serious. so i looked at him like you are serious.. he grabbed my hand and said yes honey i am very serious.. It was funny because i remember telling him that he needs a ring.. so that following day he went to kroger and got one of those plastic rings out of the machines.. he came back home, said honey i have the ring.. he got down on one knee and asked me again with the plastic ring that was yellow. To this day i still have that ring and i wont ever get rid of it.. The real day was 12-23-09, we went together to kay jewelers and got me a heart shaped diamond ring.. that evening, we went to my parents house and he proposed with the actual ring right in front of my parents.. it brought tears to my eyes as well as my moms. it has to be my all time favorite memory of kurt.. last year, he bought my wedding band and the day that he passed away. i put that wedding band out with my engagement ring. i have worn both of them since that day.
