Lanny C. Harvey, 58, of 501-B Fulton Street, Clinton, NC passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Wake Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Community United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his mother, Rosalie R. Harvey of Clinton, a daughter Jessica R. Harvey of Franklinton, two grandsons, John I. Ayscue, Jr. and Caleb C. Wheeler, both of Franklinton, a brother, Robert L. Harvey, and his wife Betty of Clinton, NC, three aunts, Dorothy R. Ferguson of Enka, NC, Ruth R. Reynolds of Candler, NC, Faye R. Vaughn of Arden, NC two uncles, Eugene R. Rice of Old Fort, NC, Gary A. Rice of Asheville, NC and ten cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph V. Harvey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 507 West “E” Street, Butner, NC 27509.
