Larry was born October 1, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio.  He joined The Zion Hill Baptist Church at an early age.   

He was preceded in death by hi parents, the late Percy and Ella Overton.   He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Christie Burns (Nashaun) Columbus, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Christian, Jayvriana Burns; five siblings, Mrs. Debra Moreland (Calvin) Greenville, Georgia, Mr. Percy Overton, Jr., Lone Oak, Georgia, Mr. Bennie Overton (Anita) Moreland, Georgia, Ms. Martha Overton (Mack) LaGrange, Georgia, Ms. Tammy Rayford (Kenneth) Newnan, Georgia; one aunt, Ms. Arvella Colton, Newnan, Georgia; Three aunts and two uncles preceded him in death; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
