His Life

Quintin De'Era LaShaun Burks

August 18, 2011

Shaun was born July 24, 1987 to Robin Talley and James Burks @ 11:27 am, weighing in at 4lbs and 8oz; at West georgia medical center. A little bundle of joy was he, all he wanted to do was sleep. I guess he got that from me. He was delivered by C-section because of my high blood pressure. We stayed in the hospital about a week after he was born because i was having complications with my bp, but we arrived home on Aug. 2, 1987. Shaun, was so small that i was afraid to hold him, i thought that he was going to break, so my mom and family helped me out alot with him until he gained some weight. Shaun was a handsome young man as you can tell by his pictures that i have posted. That was my baby, and i sure do miss him. I remember one day me and my mom was taking him to the doctor, and my mom backed the car out of the yard and she hit a puppy by mistake and Shaun yelled Grandma, u hit that puppy, u hit that puupy, luckily she didnt hurt him. He loved dogs, i guess he got that from me too. Then, i remember i signed him up to play baseball; now that was a sight for everyone to see. He was playing outfield, but he was dancing in the outfield whenever a ball came his way. You would have to be there to have seen. I guess he got the dancing from my sister Janice, because she used to love to dance. I have alot of memorial moments with him. Especially when he learned how to ride a bike, we was in Atlanta at my Aunt Ruby house and she had a black mazda 626, he learned to ride the bike at the same time scratching up the car that i ended up paying the deductible to have it fixed. When he was 5, his favorite song was Whip appeal, he knew the whole song. Live on in my heart my child, I love you 2day, 2morrow, 4ever....Always
