Lashawn was a native of North Babylon New York, and she was born February 11, 1972 to the late Jake Anderson and the late Mary Thomas. Lashawn received Christ at early age and was preceded in death by both her parents. From a union to Michael Lolis she had two beautiful children that she leaves behind to cherish, Mishawn Lolis and Jaelah Lolis.

Lashawn is survived by three sisters, Pettrice (Pat) Kendricks of Cleveland, Ohio, Rhonda (Clarence) Johnson of Oak Park, Michigan and Valerie (Val) Thompson of Chicago, Illinois, and one brother Reverend Anthony (Ganzellar) Henderson of Pensacola, Florida.

Lashawn is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A special thanks to her long time and devoted friend, whom she considered a sister, Dejrin Nickie Medlin.

Lashawn is also survived by a group of friends that she befriended while serving in the U.S. Air Force that remained close to her for over 20 years. Renee Saunders, Julie Herriott, Tonya Tilman, Nateeta Taylor, Syleena Walden, Sonya Gilmer Lovett, Nancy Johns-Bozeman, Bridgett Burgess, and Nadine Galloway. She was preceded in death by another dear friend, April Thacker.
