Michelle and Greg:

Please accept my sympathies for the recent passing of your mother, Laura V. I had the privilege of working with her for several years with the City of Springfield prior to her having health issues. She made it a point to stop in at work to see me a couple times every year after she left and her visit always made my day. She was a wonderful lady and she will definitely be missed. God Bless!

To Laura's family, I loved her dearly and will miss her. She was an amazing woman that loved her family. I feel like I know each and every one of you from our many long conversations over the years. Laura and I became friends during the unfortunate death of Jerry. She taught me so much about forgiveness, and life in general. Love you dear friend,
Debi

I'm so happy to have met Laura & both of her sisters. I had the pleasure to talk with her many, many times. She was always delightful, even when she was dealing with critical medical conditions. To all the family, rest knowing that she is home, with all those who have gone before; & finally in the loving arms of our Lord. God bless you. Audrey Annetta Prince, your cousin, via her father's mother, Mary Jane Bedenbaugh-East

Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday.

October 16, 2015

God has a way of putting certain people in your life that fullfill an unexpected need or to enhance his presence in your life. And in his infinite wisdom he deigns the inevitable in his time. But the gift he gives is his presence that is placed intimately inside us, his people. The ones that were created in his own image. And when it is time to "come home", he brings us to our hevenly home in his kingdom, and commends us for being his "good and faithful servants". Mrs. Laura V. Murdock, you have left me with some wonderful memories in the time I have known you. Your beauty, grace, wit, talent and tenacity for life are out matched by none. I miss you and your friendship and am in awe of the influence you have gifted to me and my daughter. Your legacy continues in this beautiful family that lives on in your name. I will treasure the memories I have of you always.
