If you guys ever have to go to my funeral, can you just eat good food and tell funny stories?

This memorial website was created in memory of Lauren Newton, 23, born on December 22, 1992 and passed away on April 26, 2016. She was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Please share any wonderful stories you have about Lauren. Feel free to post as many times as you want! Anytime you think of a story just post it. Lauren wasn't a stuffy person, so don't feel inclined to write a very formal story unless that's what you feel comfortable doing.

"Hi Lauren, you've been on my mind this evening so I figured it was time to say Hi! I wanted to tell you that my daughter still wears the sweatshirt you gave her. She loves it, she's pretty much worn it out now.
Look, I know our last few conversations were rough but I dont regret caring about you. Miss our chats, even though you would get mad at me. Miss our silly emoticon wars."

"I remember when we decided take make a game of apples to apples more interesting and you asked us all to come down stairs and made everyone jalapeño poppers. As the game went on I wasn't feeling well and your solution was to "just go throw up you'll feel better" of course I had forgotten what I had just eaten and after the worst burning of my life I walked into the room and saw you laughing so hard because you wher fully aware of what you had just made me do. You laughed and laughed and never let me live it down."

"I never knew Lauren too super well, but we often talked about our dogs on Facebook, shared stories of our animals with each other and so forth. I had the great pleasure of spending the day with her at a photo shoot and she was the sweetest person I had ever met.
She was an amazing person and may she rest easy."

"Last time I was at your apartment we seriously did the most amazing reenactment of Chicago's Cell Block Tango. I was doing the monologue part where the girl goes "so I fired three warning shots, into his head." And I pushed your shoulders too hard on accident and you fell on your ass and were like "oww!" And I was so sorry because I just got way too into it and your neighbor was just sitting there laughing at us because we were being stupid."

"I remember when we made a huge pot of Mac and cheese back at the ice box (aka Pavillions) and we barely ate any of it so we gave it to Pip who also decided not to eat any of it. Then we forgot about it for like 2 days and realized we had an old pot of Mac and Cheese sitting out on the floor by Pips food for 2 days."

"I remember when we brought your cat into Frys. I don't know why either of us thought that was a normal thing to do but we straight up brought Ms Kitty into Frys grocery store. She got loose (obviously) and we had to tell the people who worked there that we might have released a cat in their store. They were surprisingly not that alarmed."
