I wasn't fortunate enough to be at the service, but I was fortunate enough to have you in my life. You are loved and you will be missed. I'll never forget all of the times we played piano together from when I was only a boy to just months ago. Rest in peace.

This is my great Aunt Laurene. She is my Mom's Aunt which made her my great Aunt. But that's not the only reason she was my great Aunt. She was a great Christian woman who loved to tell corny jokes, play the piano and sing any time there was a piano around! Every single time I saw her, she would tell me how proud she was of me! The last time was in Belk about a year ago. I told her then how much I loved her and Uncle John and told her how much it meant to me that she was such an encourager to me. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I know she had her hair fixed like she liked it and her make up and jewelry on as she ran to hug Jesus! She was a great lady. I love you Aunt Bessie Laurene and your kindness is forever etched in my soul.

I am so blessed to know and be a part of Laurene Braden's family. She was a true southern lady. Elegant, loving, full of vigor and zest for life. Her smile was infectious and her music was a true reflection of how she lived her life. She will be sorely missed by me and my family. While we mourn her lost the memories will be with us forever. May she rest in peace.
