The late Lee Ann Kennedy was born on February 2, 1948 to the late Sam and Cassie Pearson.  She departed this life on March 14, 2013.

She joined Shady Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

She was a graduate of Councill High School, Dadeville, Alabama. She received an Associate Social Degree from the University of Tuskegee, Tuskegee, Alabama.

As a teacher, she taught many children throughout her duration of 30 years at Head Start.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three sisters, Essie M. (Lee) Griffin, Opelika, AL; Bertha Redden and Minnie P. (Frazier), both of Jackson Gap, AL; a special brother, Jimmy Pearson, one aunt, Ruth Tolbert, Birmingham, AL; one special niece, Carolyn (John) Davis, Birmingham, AL; three generations of nieces, nephews and cousins.
