Shaun is my son and Lee was my grandson. My own pain at losing Lee is matched only by my pain for Shaun's ongoing suffering. Lee was loving, clever, kind and loyal. A special young man who should still be with us and who is in my thoughts every day.

He is my brother and I miss him loads. I have his name tattooe on my wrist Lee Cook 1992-2007.
I have 'the light that burns twice as bright can only burn half as long' tattooed on my ribs. Just a reminder that he will always be in my heart. I miss you <3

Lee was my life, he was my reason, he was my everything. He was my son, he was my best friend. Without him my life is empty and without purpose and direction.

We're just starting work on the music for Stanley Players' next pantomime, and this always gives me particular reason to remember Lee - a lovely young man and a brilliant drummer.

We often talk about Lee in our house, he was a good friend of Katies, he used to see her on the bus to and from school where they would chat to each other. They were really good friends and we all miss his lovely smile. They enjoyed being in the Stanley Players together, Lee was good company for Katie during the panto performances. xx

I miss Lee every Panto. He gave me such great hugs every year and was a joy to know. As Shaun has said elsewhere he had a rare ability to be friends with all ages. Lovely boy xx
