Columbus, GA- Sergeant First Class Retired Leonard Whatley of Columbus passed away on Sunday at St. Francis Hospital at the age of 51. He resided at 5544 Saratoga Drive.
The Homegoing Celebration for Sgt. Whatley will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. EST at Bethel #2 Baptist Church in Opelika, AL with interment Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday at 2 p.m. with a Family Hour from 8 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
