His Life
September 20, 2014

Wishing you a Happy Birthday in Heaven dear Uncle. Though we hadn't seen each other for so long I always had you in my heart and on my mind each and every day. There was never a moment that I would not think of the funny stories that you, dad and Uncle Tony would tell us at the dinner and dessert table on those GREAT family dinners. The good times and the sad times but we all pulled through one way or another.

You were always making us laugh, smile and feel loved. The days of riding with Howie and Tara...The BBQ's and the days of summer in the pool. Catching frogs and watching the rabbits hop along in the yard. No, matter the weather we always enjoyed family time one way or another. I wish I had one more chance to have gone and visit with you tell you that I was proud to have an Uncle like you. An Uncle who served our Country, one who loved his family, one who will never be forgotten and was and always is loved.

The stories of the Three Tarantino Stooges will always be passed on to my boys Anthony Joseph and Hector Louis. They will learn who you were along with dad and Uncle Tony. Most importantly they will learn that you, dad and Uncle Tony were great men who were in the Marine Corps and that you all loved your families.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN UNCLE LENNY.........

YOU ARE MISSED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN

"Uncle Lenny"

July 17, 2013

Uncle Lenny was someone everyone loved! He always had a joke to tell, taught you how to enjoy music...the true music "Opera." While growing up on weekends especially the summertime the family would get together for BBQ's, take a swim in the pool and ride Howie and Tara...the family horses. Uncle Lenny always loved making wine and cooking.

Telling stories at the dinner table and during dessert was always his thing. If you wanted to laugh, hearing the stories of when my dad, the middle brother "Frank" and older brother "Uncle Tony" and Uncle Lenny were growing up in Newark's "Old First Ward." Here the grew up on 6th Avenue where they were between Sacred Heart Cathedral and St. Lucy's Church and all the "old timers." They had stories that were CrAzZzY!

Back then blowing up the neighbors garbage cans didn't seem as damaging and was harmless...try doing this today well we won't go there! The Three Stooges always had something up their sleeve. The best part of everything were family gatherings though. Whether it be Christmas, Easter, Birthdays or what nots the spirit of whatever we celebrated was the best there could be.

Uncle Lenny....served our Country in the Marine Corp from 1959-1965 and even after coming home remained a Great supporter of all the men and women fighting for our Country and our Freedom. Though my dad and Uncle Tony served in the Marine Corp I do not know shamely enough about their time served. I have always loved Uncle Lenny and now that he is no-longer here it is as though the family is no longer! I guess when you realize that the Three Stooges are now Togther there is a strong emptiness to be kept deep within our hearts.

Uncle Lenny....You will be missed always and forever! You were and will always be a great uncle in my heart and mind.
