Even the Kitchen Sink!

October 2, 2012

My earliest memory of Errol (the name his east coast family will always know him by) was of him turning up out of the blue at our house in his Navy uniform on leave... He was always so happy and joking and so much fun especially to a young impressionable girl of 10  12... he just wanted to have a good time! Dad would get cranky with him cause he would go out drinking and not come home till the early hours of the morning.

One night I heard a noise and a thump and I got out of bed to see what was happening. Errol had come home, crawled through the milk box (a small box about 500 x 500 where the mlkman would leave the milk). He pulled himself through using the sink and ended up sitting in the sink, then fell asleep! Drunk of course so he didn't hurt himself! I couldn't wake him up so had to leave him there...only to be discovered by my Dad in the morning! He was not happy Jan!!!!

Those where the days!!!! When family was important to us all!

Erroll loved his whole family and made many a long trip across the Nullabor to say hello!

He loved his 2 children, Anthea and Michael so very much and was so proud them both and the lives they have achieved!

Your cheaky comments, your laughter and loving nature will be sadly missed cousin!

Say Hi to all the family up there mate... you are now safe in their arms!
