Grandma,
Today I started the journey of tracing my family tree. As I get older, I understand that it's important to know where you come from, and I know that if I don't know anything else, I come from you. I miss the memories I shared with you. My fondest memories of you are hot summers, flavored grits, you singing gospel songs from the top of your lungs, and your love for the Lord. I will carry that with me forever. I love you.

You were my "Pretty Lady"! I miss you more than words can express!! You were one of the most important women in my life, my best friend, and the woman I looked up to!! You are forever missed but never forgotten. I am thankful you don't have to live in pain anymore. Your memory shall live on granma. Love you so much my PRETTY LADY!!
