Her Life
April 23, 2016

I suppose there is not a lot left to say really.
Nothing that I can think of anyway.
By most peoples standards we lived just a very boring life.
But we were happy.
Now I just struggle on day after day hoping each one will be my last.
The struggle is never ending - but it will end one day.
That keeps me going.
The sun is coming out now as I type.
I will force myself to go out and do what I had planned to do today.

Your Early Years

March 6, 2016

You were born Lilian Irene Peart in Linskill Street which is situated in the centre of North Shields and lived there until you were 3 or thereabouts which was when you moved to Sunniside which is on the Balkwell Estate.

You loved North Shields and and regarded Sunniside as your home and never felt at home in either of the other 2 homes which you had and bitterly regretted moving from there.

When I was 10 years old we all moved to Lyncroft Road where we stayed until December 1973 when we moved to Regency Gardens which you always said was a big mistake but even though we looked we could never find anything more suitable so here I am now. The last Green Bottle Standing on the wall........... to be continued
