463 Summer Avenue Newark, New Jersey

Living in the Northward of Newark, New Jersey during the early seventies provided me with a childhood fraught with fun, discouragement and discipline from a plethora of human and institutional norms. My grandmother Lillian worked at Martland Hospital and later renamed UMDNJ aka University of College, Medicine and Dentistry where she worked in House Keeping. Every Friday night after work she'd tell me to call into Frank's Pizzeria on Bloomfield Avenue and she'd drive me up there and we'd pick up our pie. Just grandma and I eating pizza in the kitchen while everyone else retired for the evening. Of course that's entirely true. We had a Doberman Pinscher named Cesar. We'd have to give him at least 2 slices. Lolz
