On December 3, 2014, God gently whispered to our beloved Lillie (mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend) that her time on earth was done, and He needed her to unite with her two children in Heaven: Ben, Jr. and Hattie Claire.


A celebration of life service was held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Demond Jones, Pastor, officiating. Interment followed immediately afterwards in the churchyard cemetery.


The staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to have served the family of the late Mrs. Lillie Dove Tarver Hill and join the family in an extreme expression of gratitude for the care and support extended to them during the illness and demise of their precious loved one.
