A native of Greensboro, GA., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Robbins Wynn. Residing in Columbus since 1964, she retired as a Child Care Provider and was a dedicated wife and homemaker. A devout member of St. James C.M.E. Church, she served with the Stewardess Ministry and Missionary Society.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, SFC Ret. Calvin D. Perkins and two siblings, Henry Wynn and Julia Johnson. Surviving are three daughters, Janice D. Chapman(Herbert), Yvonnie R. Perkins and Tara S. Grant(Michael); two grandchildren, Donival Chapman and Yoshica Chapman; one great grandchild, Daisha Chapman; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
