Lilly... even though we never met in person, I was able to hear so many stories about you from your Mom and see all the wonderful things you accomplished from updates on Facebook. I wish so much that I was able to meet you and your cousins were able to meet you, but sadly we never did. My children, (your cousins) will always know who you are because I will always let them know of the amazing person you were. My heart breaks for your family and I know they will forever miss you. I know that you will shine bright in the sky just as bright as you shined upon this Earth. I am proud to call you my Niece and we will never forget you!

Lilly, You were so beautiful. My heart aches for your family and friends as we get ready to lay you to rest tomorrow. I remember you coming into chorus and just sitting there laughing with everyone. We even shared a few laughs ourselves. You will be missed by so many. But I know you are making one beautiful angel. ♡ RIP Beautiful. Lillys familyis in my prayers.

The students, staff, band boosters and band parents of Pike County Marching Pirate Regiment have the family in our thoughts and prayers during this time. We never stopped praying for her. The minute we found out she was hurt, it was posted to the band website and prayer began. None of us got to know Lilly personally, but from all the wonderful things we read, she was an amazing young lady. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

You may not remember me, but I taught Lily in Sixth Grade. She was one of my last full classes at Heard Middle School. Every day she brought that wonderful smile into my class that lifted my heart and made it a good day. She was a generous, caring, intelligent soul, and the world lost a wonderful person who could have done so much when she passed away. You and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Scott Family I am so sorry for your loss. My son and Lilly were good friends in middle school but drifted apart through their high school years. But the things I remember are the love of family you all have. I know words will not ease your pain. Take comfort in knowing that Lilly was loved by many in her young life. God Bless you all. RIP Lilly Scott!

Even though I did not know you that well, I still want to break down. Seeing you at the football games or when I came to pick up my little brother, Cody Head, you always had a beautiful smile on your face. My heart aches for the friends, family, teachers, peers, and community, which includes me, of Miss Lilly Scott. I ask that everyone that is hurting know that our father in heaven has a plan. He put Lilly on the earth for a reason. He job is now complete and she will forever be our beauitul angel looking down on us. I also ask that if anyone ever needs to just talk, scream, cry, or anything, know that I'm here for you the best way possible. She was such a wonderful person inside and out. I'm so blessed to say that I'm from Heard County, home of the brave. Whenever in bad and good times, we as a community come together to help each other out and to pray! OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD! <3
Rest in Paradise, babygirl.
