Linda Faye Jeffcoat Henley, 59, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at her home.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Monroe Jeffcoat. She was a member of Knotts Grove Church and worked as a registered nurse at Granville Hospital, Maria Parham Hospital and Central Regional Hospital for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2015 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Frank Sossamon. Burial will be in Knotts Grove Cemetery in Oxford.

Surviving are her husband of forty-one years, Danny L. Henley of the home, a daughter, Christina “Chris” Henley Hobgood, a son, Sammy L. Henley of the home, her mother, Ruth R. Jeffcoat of Oxford, a brother, Johnny M. Jeffcoat of Knightdale, three sisters, Maxine J. Cox, Debbie J. Ramsey, and Mary J. Weary, all of Oxford, and one granddaughter, Alexis Hobgood. She was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Jeffcoat and a grandson, Andrew Hobgood.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening, July 12, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.

Did not know Linda but had met her on occasion. Had her granddaughter in class and her husband Danny whom has been one of my bus mechanics for yrs! Just wanted to send my heartfelt deepest sympathy to everyone in the family! I know she will surely be missed!:Again I'm so sorry.

We are so sorry to hear of our Friends passing. We have fond memories of going to Arnold's for burgers on Saturday nights. Such beautiful memories and good times that we will cherish. Danny and Family, please know that Gilbert and I are here for anything you need. Sending love, prayers and our deepest sympathy.

Linda and myself had the same birthday she was in my class at school I always tease her that she was older than me. One find lady and mother also a great wife. We will miss her always! Thanks for all the good laughs
