This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Linda Sturgess, 61, born on December 21, 1951 and passed away on December 27, 2012. We will remember her forever.
Born In High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire UK. Mother and Father, Irene & Percy Besley, Percy sadly passed away in 1960. They lived in School Way, Loudwater. Linda married me (Tony) on 14th February 1980. Together we raised 2 sons; James, born 14th May 1982 and Aaron, born 17th September 1985. We moved to Marlow in 1985 where we are now. Linda worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a local Marlow primary school. She was very well liked by the children, parents and the staff. The school closed on the day of the funeral resulting in a big turnout at the funeral of colleagues and families from the school as well as all the close family. Sadly Linda didn't get to see Aaron marry Nicole in April 2013 or the birth of their first child in September, Renée Amelia Linda Sturgess. Aaron and Nicole second girl, Arabella Evelyn May, was born on 14th May 2015 the same day as James' birthday. May 15th that year was also my (Tony) fathers funeral, Gordon William Sturgess which Nicole could not attend as she was still in the Maternity unit with Arabella. Aaron and Nicole have now another girl, Mila Leonie Nelly Sturgess born September 19th 2018, 8.16lbs. Oh how Linda would have loved 3 grand daughters.

"If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Wife's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away."
Still think of you every day.
From the whole family. XXX
On our anniversary, February 14th,
it would have been 37 years
here is the poem that I'm sure you would love to hear.
