Her Life

Lindsey Dolter

May 5, 2015

Lindsey came into the world July 9, 1979 in Estevan, Sk. and was born into her eternal home, where she was reunited with her Lord on May 3, 2015 in Regina at the age of 35 after a 2 ½ year courageous fight with cancer.

The family moved to Regina in 1996, where Lindsey flourished in her new surroundings. It didn’t take long before a friend, Ryley, became more than a friend. Lindsey and Ryley were married on Nov 27, 1999 and enjoyed a oneness that many couples only hope for.

Throughout her life, Lindsey was known as a woman with a deeply caring heart. Even to the end she was concerned about those around her. As an adult, Lindsey found the ideal outlet for her creativity by successfully completing her Diploma in Interior Design (with Distinction) and was well on her way to completing her Degree in the same field when cancer was discovered. Lindsey was a person of strong character so when confronted with this life threating disease she fought back hard with the support of her loving husband, family and friends.

Lindsey was predeceased by her loving Grandma & Grandpa Woytuik and Oma and Opa Teichreb.

Left to cherish Lindsey’s memories is her amazing husband, Ryley Dolter, her loving parents, David and Dona Woytuik, sisters, Jennifer (Micheal Throssell), Sara (Wayne Linner), Rebecca and brother Andrew (Ashleigh Chorney). Nephews and nieces Elijah, Izaak, Hava and Karina Throssell. Parents in law Larry and Kathy Dolter, sisters in law Andrea (Ian Whitfield), Heather (Dave Elliott) and Sierra. Nieces Freedom and Serenity.

Also left to cherish Lindsey’s memory are her Aunts, Uncles and cousins, many coworkers and many friends. A special friend since childhood Lani Brunn and long time friends Matthew and Sherri Tremaine and Justin and Nikki Harrison.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital and the Palliative Home Care staff for the compassionate care received. Special thanks to Dr. Joanne McLeod for going the extra mile.

A celebration of Lindsey’s life will be held for immediate family and close friends only.

Supporting World Vision and other child charities was a passion for Lindsey so in lieu of flowers or as a tribute, donations may be given to a child charity of your choice.
