I was just thinking of Lisa the other day, remembering a party at her house for our sons' soccer team months before the 2008 presidential election. Adults speculating about the political future, the boys going out to a movie and playing video games. Such good company and welcoming home.
Pt. 3 You were blessed, dear Lisa, to experience your dream of being a mother. And what a rare mother you are. Thank you, my friend, for all the wonderful memories.
Pt.2 And she was a superb mom to Luke,Matthew,Christopher,Andrew, and Steves's son Stephen.I can see her beautiful face now, her smile, her joy in life, the delight she took in her boys.
I have wonderful memories of Lisa.I refer to her in the present, rather than the past, because she is present in our hearts.Lisa and Steve sent their four beautiful boys to our preschool. Both were loving, concerned, and involved parents.Lisa's dearest wish was to be a mother.
Andrew and Nicky played soccer together for DUSC. We remember fondly team parties hosted by Lisa - food, wine, a pack of boys roaming around and great conversation and relaxing with the adults. She always had an extra shinguard and a kind or helpful word. Love, the Hu family
Our family is so sad to hear of the passing of Lisa. We were so fortunate to have her as a neighbor and a friend when we all lived together in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn. Lisa had a incredible bright spirit that will live on in our memories. Our condolences to her family.
