Lisa was born on January 23, 1961 in Oakland, CA, but resided in Stockton most of her life.

She entered into rest peacefully at the age of 52 on June 23, 2013.

Lisa was a wonderfully kind person with a beautiful smile and spirit who was loved by everyone who came into her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was always the "life of the party" ... and each and every time (upon leaving), she would always give a hug or a kiss smile and say," I love you!" Lisa worked for Diamond Walnut as a factory worker for several years, and also a Nurse’s Assistant. Most importantly, she was a very special daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.

Lisa is survived by her three children: James Edward Binder Jr., Monique Binder, and Monisha Mimmitt; her mother Frances Henderson and husband Sidney Henderson;  her father Jesse Mimmitt Sr. and wife Stella Mimmitt; her grandchildren Sema'J Inez Binder, Jalik Amir Binder, Jaysen Malik Mimmitt and Amayah Mikel Cravens; her sisters Katora Mimmitt, Angel Hasty, Bernique Harris and husband Randy Harris, Nefertiti Mimmitt and husband Lavelle Duprese Smith; and Carisa Henderson; her brothers Walter Clay, Jesse Mimmitt, Daniel Mimmitt, Joshua Mimmitt; and Steven Henderson and wife Lauri Pfeifer, and also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death a brother, Sidney Jason Henderson.

A memorial service will be held in the Open Door House of Prayer, Stockton, CA on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11:00AM, by Pastor Ronny Murray. Interment will follow in the Lodi Cemetery, Lodi, CA.  Repasts will follow the internment at Open Door House of Prayer.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
