Ms. Lola Toler was born on April 19, 1925 with a twin sister Lois Toler.  They were the  seventh child/children  born to  the  late Silas and Exa Toler.

Lola Toler confessed  her  life to Christ  at  an early age.  She  joined Mt. Godfrey  United Methodist Church in Daviston, AL. She  worked diligently at Mt. Godfrey UMC and served  on several  organizations  before  her health failed  such as:  Membership Secretary,  Administrative Board Secretary, Secretary of  the  Choir, President  of the United Methodist  organization  in the  New Site  area, Member of  the  Board of Trustees, Member of PPRC, Assistant  Secretary of the Sunday School Department,  and Leadership Committee for  Mt. Godfrey and the fellowship committee.

On September 26,  2012,  God called Ms. Toler  home.

She  answered with a smile and an open heart. Lola had six siblings whom are  Elizabeth  Burns, Lucille Gamble, Gladys Price,  Jessie Toler,  Wesley Toler (Buster),  and Mary Francis Cook. Ms. Toler also had four  kids that  preceded her in death: Ronnie Toler,  Larry  Burns, Willie Hall, and Leslie (Mae) Burns, with one grandson Bernard Burns that will  welcome her  home.

She  leaves to cherish  her  memories:

Her twin sister: Lois Toler of Cleveland, OH. Three children:  Bobbie Burns-Harris (Opelika,  AL), Anita Toler, Marilyn Toler ,(Cleveland, OH) and her adopted  daughter Ruby Heard,  (Dadeville, AL). Seventeen Grandchildren, Thirty-six Great  Grandchildren,  and a Host of  Nieces and Nephews.
