Important Event

November 16, 2012

About 40 years ago my cousin Paulas son Billy had his 13 year event.  The family traveled to Penn. for the party and reunited we were at a joyous time.
It was a party of love and Loretta and I spent most of the time laughing remembering and telling some funny stories of our family which has since dwindled and faded somewhat.
Loretta was a shining light and I was pleasedI could be with her on and off this last year or 2 in the New Jersey area.  A stalwart soul filled with life and the will to go on but alas it ended too soon but happy memories are deep stilled.

  MUCH LOVE

Thinking about my time with Loretta brings a smile to my face.  Loretta had a personality that really lit up a room.  I will always remember my time with Loretta fondly.

Spending time with Loretta at her house in South Orange was always a treat when I was younger. Meandering around the house admiring the sculptures she brought to life.  There were two particular pieces that stick out in my memory.  The first was the sculpture of an owl she made; I could not fathom how Loretta brought this piece of stone to life.  The other was an abstract in orange stone, Loretta had a talent for turning jagged rock into smooth and expressive art.

I miss Loretta deeply.
