After saying my final goodbye to Loretta, I walked out to the parking platform at Hoag Hospital. I was greeted with an incredible sunset! It had a bright red sky with welcoming clouds. Catalina Island's silhouette was prominent on the horizon as well. Since Catalina was a favorite destination of Loretta and Emil's, I knew she was going to a better place.
