Biography

June 7, 2016

Louis and his sister Maria were born and raised in the Vancouver area. He worked in Langley for a few years and then headed to the Yukon for approximately five years. From the Yukon he headed back to Langley for a short while, then moved to Edmonton. He stayed with the Andronyk family for many years until he got married. Louis worked at Macdonald Hotel, Chateau Lacombe and Mayfield Inn until a neighbor suggested he get into roofing. He started with a roofing company and eventually started working at Acron Roofing and was a faithful employee for 30+ years. He loved working at Acron and worked there until retirement. Louis's dream came true when Acron Roofing sent Louis and Jeanette on a trip to Toronto to see the Toronto Blue Jays.

Louis and Jeanette were married on March 17, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married for 24 years.

He was the type of person that got along well with young and old alike and had a good sense of humour. He always had a joke ready for one and all.

One of his favourite pastimes was fishing. He started fishing at a very young age and would take every opportunity to go. It didn't matter to him if it was winter or summer.

Louis and Jeanette enjoyed taking vacations to see family in British Columbia and Saskatchewan plus weekend road trips.
