Mrs. Louise Tookes Hooks of Lithonia, GA, formerly of Columbus, passed away Friday at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was 63 years of age.

The daughter of the late Rether and Lula Walker Tooks, Mrs. Hooks was born in Oglethorpe, GA o March 3, 1951. Having resided in Columbus for over 30 years, Mrs. Hooks was a member of the Church of the Living God Lord Jesus Apostolic where she served faithfully as a Deaconess and with the Choir. She was employed with Pro House Cleaning Service. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mr. Sammy Hardrick, Sr. and Mr. Joseph T. Hooks, a son Sammy Hardrick, Jr. and a stepdaughter, LeeShonda Hooks.

Survivors include: her beloved children, Beula Williams (Patrick), Anthony Hardrick (Kimberly), Steven Hardrick, Ullainee Foster (Joseph), Gaynell Hooks and Vanessa Thomas; four stepchildren, Joseph T. Hooks, Jr., Reginald Hooks (Bernice), Vickie Hooks (Antwan) and Valisa Mercer (Derrick); eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; six sisters, Patricia Tookes, Ernestine Henderson (Costonia), Lula Jackson, Sandra Tookes, Myra Barron and Valerie Tookes; one brother, Willie R. Tookes (Vivian); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
