It's been 6 years and it doesn't get any easier. Today we are hoping your first great-granddaughter is born. Lindsey's due date was 2 days ago but we know you have another day saved for her. Lucy and I went to your grave today and planted a succulent for you.

Dear Mom,
It's been over a year now since your passing and it's not any easier. You missed your 68 th and 69 th birthdays. This is my second mother's day without you. Everyday should be a celebration of mother's day for the living and the dead. That is why I've made several memorials for you.
