Lula was a girl scout for many years.  She was involved in every facet of scouting.Her leader was my first grade teacher Mrs. Croxton.  She  carried Von to every thing that girl scouting was about.  Von earned the highest title that a girl scout could achieve in scouting. I sometime wondered if she was ever at home .She always kept busy even as a very young girl.

Lula had a sibling she called brother.  They visited many activities and places together.  One was never seen without the other one.  They shared many memories from their singing on the radio, to their fishing adventure that got them in trouble.They always took up for each other even when brother had an accident at the swimming pool.  These two really enjoyed growing up together.
