Death is illogical – mama got to the peak then died, Mummy even though you are no more, your good work lives after you. A gift of gold is precious, a gift of diamond is valuable, but a gift of you as a mother is priceless. I was lucky to have you as a foster mother. You love children so much you had many (Akinsola, Abayomi, Taiwo, Idowu, Titilayo, Abimbola, Adewale, Lanre, Kunle,Taiwo, Zacheus, Damilola,Lekan,Adefunke….. these children you nurtured – these one you influenced, these one you made. Mama, your valuable words I will keep in my heart, your audible voice I will treasure- all your instructions will guide me. I still remember all that you taught me- you gave all that you had. Words of mouth not enough to thank you, a thousand thanks not sufficient. Little wonder you dance to your grave. Mama indeed you have gone to sleep, but your memory is very much alive. All your children are celebrating you today.

And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you
And whispered,
‘Come with me’
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Your beautiful smile at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
He always takes the best.
It’s lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day.
Our lives just aren’t the same
Ever since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong
We hear you gently whisper,
‘Cheer up and carry on.’
Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
‘Don’t cry, I’m in God’s keeping,
We’ll meet again someday.’

I know that you're dead and you're gone for good. It's hard to accept, but now I've understood. Nothing lasts forever, even if it's good or it's bad. Now you're up in heaven; it makes me feel glad that finally your pain and sadness has ended. Just like the way God had intended at this time you're standing at those big golden gates, up in heaven your new life awaits. I know you're looking down on us wanting us to be strong just as you have been all along. We all miss you and that's definitely true.

Rest In Peace.
When I think of Mom,I do not think of the term mother -in-law which always seems to carry a bit of negative connotation, but with mine none of those typical mother -in-law things were involved. In fact, she was such a wise and gracious mom.I would have gladly received more of her guidance, had she been well enough over the years to give it.
Mom's health issues kept her from being able to spend a lot of time with her grandchildren, but when she did she made it count. I will never forget one particular night she babysat our Enioluwanimi till around 3.00am singing and dancing for her little Enny even with her health issues. She was always ready to go extra miles to make us happy. Her regular word to me "Adeola Ose oku itoju mi ni igba gbogbo Iwo na ori Omo to ju re"
I also remember when I had our twins, she was the happiest person that very day ,she couldn't believe she could witness that occasion but God made it possible. Your sermon and words on the naming was full of joy and excitement. If I continue on and on I will not stop. Your babies Enioluwanimi,Abisinuade and Abisinuayo kept asking when is grandma coming to Lagos but I Know one day we will all meet to part no more.
Mom is in a better place resting in the bossom of the Lord.I am grateful that Mom was part of our lives
Mom, you will be missed.....but never forgotten. Sun re mama rere.....
To live is Christ but to die is gain. For Christ said that in his father's house there are many mansions. If it were not so, he would have told us! And we are instructed to give thanks in all things, for we are in his hands in death and in life.
Sleep well my beauty until you meet with Christ! You will never be forgotten. You have left behind fine young men who will show the world how wonderful you were, by how they live. For this, you have fulfilled your purpose!
Love always, your nephew Jide
