Maddi Higgins, beloved daughter, sister, team member and friend to so many.

It is with great sadness that we are writing to you about the passing of Maddi Higgins, our beloved daughter, sister, softball team member and friend to so many.  Maddi passed away on June 9 at age 17 after a tragic car accident in West Linn.   

Maddi was a true giver and had a huge heart. In accordance with her wishes and her beautiful giving spirit, Maddi’s organs will be donated to positively impact the lives of others. 

Here we invite you to share your most memorable Maddi moments and photos, express condolences and help us create this treasured online remembrance community.

And if you would like to contribute to a fund in Maddi's honor, please visit here to do so.  The “Maddi Higgins Family Donation Account” will ease the financial burden on Maddi’s mother and sisters by assisting with costs related to final expenses and extended grief counseling.

Maddi’s Celebration of Life was held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:05pm at South Lake Foursquare Church, located at 1555 SW Borland Road in West Linn, OR, 97068.   It was a heart-warming turn out of hundreds.

Maddi, Your Mom & I talked about the how exciting it was for her just prior to you being born. Maria and I were also celebrating the upcoming birth of our soon to be born son, Joe.  You are about the same age as him. Such promise for both of you. I know you are now one of those very bright lights in the night sky, forever shining a positive spirit to us all. We will miss you, until next time.
