This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Maddox Derkosh. I did not know him or his family but his passing touched my heart to create this memorial. He was a cherished child that was loved by his parents, friends and family very much! Maddox loved to celebrate life's moments, especially birthdays. He loved sandcastles on the beach and toy trucks and tractors. He loved to giggle and was a happy child. We will forever remember him and cherish the memory's of his life. He was treasured by many and is now a heavenly angel. He is in God's gentle hands now, a beautiful paradise. Maddox will be delighted in heaven to be reunited with his family once they are called home ♥ Until then we will hold the innocence and beautiful life of Maddox safe in our ♥ Feel free to write a memorial tribute for this precious angel or a personal story. Elizabeth and Jason so sorry . I wish I could give you both a hug but just know Maddox sweet angel is in a good place I lost a nephew and him and Maddox are in heaven playing with their trucks.and with my dog that passed away 2 years ago chevy. I know they found each other.because of how much I think of Maddox.and I have asked God to have him and my nephew meet. Love James and Julie

You may never read this post from a complete stranger but you are an amazingly strong couple to endure such a tragic event while knowing that times doesn't stop. I have 3 boys under the age of 6 so I can relate to a mother's love for her child. I think about you all the time & don't know if I will ever be able to set foot in a zoo again with my children. My heart aches for the family. The best comfort anyone can give is the comfort from the scriptures. They hold out a promise of a paradise earth being restored as God intended when he created man & put him in a paradise.(Isaiah 55:11) In the very near future God will bring back those who have died(John 5:28,2). Then we will see fulfilled Psalm 37:28,29 & Rev 21:3,4.

What a beautiful little angel he was. Reminded me of my grandson at that age with the glasses. He is beautiul. May GOD help your family in this tragic moment. Try to find some peace.
