Her Life

Mady-Krysty Injeck Fomundam

February 2, 2014

The sun rose November 11 2009, with blue skies, no clouds and a lot of promises for an excellent future. Before her first birthday, she had touched so many hearts with her beauty and infectious smile. At the age of 2, she charmed everyone who came across her with her level of intelligence, interactions with other kids and adults alike. Her dance moves, intellect, level of energy, her ability to define her likes and dislikes at this early age puzzled dada and mami what she will grow up to be. Her level of curiosity made us ponder whether she will become a brain surgeon, astronaut, firefighter or other higher callings.

Starting Pre-school before her third birthday, she attended the prestigious "Sparkles Play School" located in Silver Lakes Golf Estate in Pretoria - South Africa. This brought about a whole new dimension; in her mind she thought she was now independent, she now had new friends, learned new songs, learned to bake cakes, different games etc. This instantly led her to have disagreements with Mami on what clothes she wants to wear every morning, what songs she wants to sing around the house and even tried hard to re-negotiate her bedtime with Dada. She also wanted to now dictate to the Grandma when she could or could not enter her bedroom. Her third and last birthday on earth, she literally was trying to have a say in every aspect and made Dada a peace broker between her, the Mami and Grandma during the planning stages.  she attended Sunday School every sunday at the Emmanuel Presbyterian church, where she learnt lots of rhymes and songs,  with her favorite song being "Jesus loves me this I know"

Injeck or Baby E as fondly called by family and many friends was so beautiful, charming and truly acted as a mini adult. She leaves behind her parents, Maternal Grandma (whom she fondly called Grandma Magdaline), so many aunties, uncles and over 30 cousins who spoke to her regularly on phone or Facetime. She had such a promising future on this earth, but on January 3rd 2013, God called her to be at his side; she probably was too perfect for our imperfect world.

We now pray that, God should heal us and provide us with the wisdom to understand and accept that she is in a better place.

Thank you Baby E for so much great joy over the years.

We love you lots.

Till we meet again!
