|Let the memory of Maeve be with us forever|
"It is nearly our seventh Christmas without Maeve. It hurts as badly as the first. The only difference is that I can control my tears better. There is no distance like there should be. My son thinks the massive concussion I had from blowing out and shattering the drivers door with my head window did more damage than they originally thought. Because there SHOULD be a little relief. I'll never forget her, I know that for a certainty. I'll also see her again when I die. I just miss her."
"I will never forget that time we went shopping for shoes for both Maeve and Rhys. Didn't realize until we got home that Rhys's shoes would light up, but Maeve's didn't. She was so upset. So we spent all day meowing every time she took a step."
"I love you"
"Maeve didn't have any meanness in her. Everyone she met was a friend. Her love of animals sticks with me the most. She used to even rescue worms during rainstorms. When she died a big piece of me died with her. But I know she's with Jesus now and I'll see her again. So, until that time, I love you, my maeveling."
