Maggie Elizabeth Ellixson, 83, a resident of 1014 East Roycroft Road, Creedmoor, NC, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at Duke Medical Center. A native of Granville County, the widow of Johnnie B. Ellixson and the daughter of the late Elijah B. and Annie Allgood West. She was a member of Living Stones Church of God in Oxford and retired from Mt. Hope Finishing Company in Butner, NC.
 
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Living Stones Church of God by Rev. Milton Abbott. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens, 3034 Old Rt. 75, Stem, NC.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Leonard (Joseph) of Durham, two sons, Gene Ellixson (Pat) of Durham, David Ellixson (Carrie) of Butner, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Ellixson, Tina E. Hamilton, SFC Toni E. McCray and Zachary Ellixson and two great grandchildren, Seth M. Hamilton and Matthew McCray. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Ellixson.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Living Stones Church of God, 6096 Tabbs Creek Road, Oxford, NC 27565
 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Living Stones Church of God.

Gene and Diane,
We are very sorry to hear about your Mother but as we all know she is in heaven and rejoicing. May God comfort you and your families over the next little while and we all will see each other on the other side. Please remeber all the good times and keep the fond memories alive. God Bless and our condolences.
