My Mother Rest & Rejoice

October 12, 2015

The death of our mother is the hardest to bear for she chose to give her life to us the best way she knew how and through all her sacrifices we learned to love and tried on many endeavors to follow her path it only until that we truly know what that path is and where it leads knowing now that she is resting in Gods embrace.

I do look forward to the day they will be reunited.

So Now Sleep Mommie

With that peaceful smile in your heart that smile face knowing that all the pain has been erased. Resting in God's arms now and rejoicing in heaven this has been your ultimate race. Taking your life to care for us knowing the heavenly angels were waiting for you to take your place in the Heavenly chior that you now grace.

As you have promised you are still with us My brother never dreamed it would be like this him trying to comfort you in the hours and days of your life hear with us however in your weakest days you tried to comfort him too......Your strong spirit us ever traveling and so strong it is and still is always caressing my heart and my soul as only you can do.

Did i feel that touch on face, when we were ill or out of place that soothing balm in your embrace that smile joy when your happy that can light up black out on New York dark days

A pillar of Faith and Strength even until the end

Fighting all life's battles, knowing it triumphantly you would win

Pushing me to be the best that you know I can be

Reminding me to keep the faith and allow God to lead me.

Knowing it's through Christ that I can do all things

And as He never makes a mistake those you loved and hold dear to your heart would  come through victoriously.

Sleep Mommie, Rest for the feast prepared for you, you should be at your best.

As a family we find relief knowing that we will see you again

As your children we remember and let you live within by remembering all you taught us,

The hopes and dreams for us all, too continue the good fight for forgiveness sake

Remembering all you taught and shared we will walk in your path and stand in the gap as a bridge for those who can't

I will walk in footsteps you have walked before me

Seeing the path you walked lead by you, my Mother,(Mommie), straight into victory.

So as you rest in preparation to rejoice in the cradle of the Lord,

I am reassured of God's promises in His Holy Word.

I dream of the day when Heaven's gates open to receive me

And with your smiling face and loving eyes, reunited once again I will be.

Your Daughter,

                  Ann Serena
