"Friend to my mother and husband to my mother's best friend. Father to my God-Sister, sisters and brother. You knew me before I did. You were a part of the landscape as I grew to know the world. Always pleasant and welcoming, always a smile, always a well-placed helpful word when most needed. Though departed and off to your reward, you leave behind a priceless legacy in people and in memory. Love!"

"If I should go before the rest of you
Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone,
Nor when I'm gone speak in a Sunday voice
But be the usual selves that I have known.
Weep if you must,
Parting is hell,
But life goes on,
So sing as well.
To my Aunt and cousins - Say not in grief: "Uncle Tolla is no more",
but live in thankfulness that he was
