Malvin B Craig

Malvin Brinson Craig was born on July 18, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to James Lee and Bertie Craig. He was the youngest among 9 children. His mother passed away when he was 18 months old. 

Mal served in the United States Navy in the Pacific theater during World War II.  His assignment was in the underwater defense division maning submarine nets from San Fransico to New Zealand as well as being a signalman in the Navy's communication network.  

Mal worked as a Construction Engineer for such companies as the Quaker Oats Company and United States Gypsum building manufaturing plants in Tennessee, Florida, Louisianna, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, Virginia and California

A faithful Sunday School teacher for over 50 years, he taught throughout his travels.  At 73, Mal Craig founded Operation Compassion a ministry of the Wings of Faith Fellowship.  In the ten years he ran Operation Compassion over 30,000 families were fed in excess of 1.2 million pounds of food in the Ocala, Fl area.
