Marcia and I were Monday bridge partners for about two years. We accepted one another's foibles and bad bids but some times did quite well. She was fun to be with. Bright, a good conversationalist, and always ready to do or say something to help you or make you feel better. Her smile never wavered and her spirit never weakened. She was a light in my life that has gone out. I do miss her and think of her.

What a loss.....a most joyful and cheerful soul has left us. She was always willing to help me host our Monday bridge group and I welcomed her help. She had the sweetest disposition of anyone I ever knew. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I have known Marsha for many years, mainly in the water aerobics classes, but also in classes at the Calabasas library. She was always cheerful, friendly, and we had short discussions on many topics. I can't believe we won't see her, but we will always remember her fondly.

Also had the pleasure of meeting her son and a couple Grand Kids last summer at the pool! I will never forget that wonderful happy smile! Rest in Peace, my friend!

Marcia and I got dressed together at least three times a week after swimming. I will always remember our chats after she hit the showers with her turning on the water fully hot to warm her up. Her smile and her sense of humor always enhanced my day. I already miss her.

Although I didn't know Marcia well, other than a hello in the pool, her warmth and smile was a constant. She was inspirational for me. I will miss her, when I glance to the spot that was hers in class.

I will miss my buddy  She was always smiling and teasing me. What a great lady. She always had a hat and jacket to match. I used to tease her about this. We were both non swimmers but we managed to go into the deep end. It took a while for me to convince her but she did it. I keep looking in your space and will know that is yours. Miss u and say hi to Betty

We had the privilege of playing Bridge with Marcia for many years. She was a lot of fun. She was a good person and a devoted mother and grandmother as we could tell from some of the stories she told us. We are also grateful that we called and visited with her while she was at the Jewish Home for the Aging. She was bright and fun and energetic. We miss her. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

Since I began going to water aerobics regularly several years ago every time I was in the pool Marcia was there. Her smile. Her friendly personality. Her fun hats! I will miss seeing Marcia, but in my heart she will always be there. I can see her now in my mind's eye as we splash around the pool to the music!

Marcia and her friend Irma were our two tiny "trouble makers". I loved seeing Marcia's smile and hearing her encouraging words when she saw me come back to water aerobics after a lapse. Her words of wisdom were always welcome. We will miss her and think of her when we see the lovely flowers planted in her name.

Dear Sandy and family, me and my family are really sorry for the loss of Marcia. She was very special , even my husband remember her somehow. She was the one who insipred me to get in to Aqueftiness year around. With her beautiful smile, personality, so positive and friendly, will be remembered in my heart. I cried when I saddly read the email today, I just still can't beleive it, the the next time I'll step in the pool, I won't see her again... She'll be remembered with her beautiful smile every single time she stepped in the water, no matter how cold it was.

Marcia, you will be greatly missed. In the few years I knew you, I don't think I ever saw you without a smile on your face. Also, I knew I could always count on you to be color-coordinated. I loved that!

Fondly, Laura

Marsha was a beautiful woman who never lost her sense of humor, her dignity or her intellect. When I first moved to California in the early 2000s and started coming to Aquafit, she was the first person to welcome me. We talked a little bit about the accident that left her walking with a cane and life in general. I will miss her and her contagious smile and kind ways.
Kind wishes to all of her family. How lucky you were to have her in your lives for 87 years. What a gift.

Marcia was such a light. She was always smiling and happy. She remembered and asked about what was going on in my life even though she talked to so many people. I will miss seeing her smiling face and her kind energy.

So sorry to hear. Marcia was a great lady. She never gave up with all the obstacles she had to deal with. Never complained and always showed up to do her workout. She was a true trooper. She will be greatly missed.

Marsha … always smiling … always positive … never complaining (except that the pool was too cold!). You were our Water Lilies fashionista … a matching hat for every swimsuit. You laughed easily and put others at ease. That is how I will remember you.

Friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know they are standing by. Marsha's water aerobic friends will always think of her fondly.

My Dear Friend Marcia

January 26, 2015

There are so many stories to share about Marcia, but I am still in shock that she is gone. we were just talking and laughing on the phone when she was at The Jewish Home, planning to go home a day before she passed. I remember best her sense of humor, for example, once I said how much I disliked cashiers who questioned me about coupons, as if I was trying to "pull a fast one on them", without missing a beat, Marcia said, "Well, when that happens I usually am trying to pull a fast one"

When I was in the hospital once for a month, Marcia sent me a card every single day. I will never forget that.

We spent a lot of time together during the twenty years we were friends.

I shall miss her terribly.

Dear Marcia, I hope that there is a swimming pool and a beach for you up in Heaven.

My deepest condolences go out to her children and children whom she loved so much.

Elaine
