I'm no writer so a bit of chronology will have to do.

Marcy was born 1/7/54 at the Schaekle Clinic in Mason WV, to Emma Kathrine ("Sally") (Nease) (Erwin) (and then Owens) and Everet John Erwin. John Erwin didn't last long.

Sally's Mom and Dad helped raise her on Oak St. Until Sally married Jim Owens and he promptly adopted her at the age of 3.

She lived in Monkey Run (Pomeroy), all through school, 1st grade at Central (Naylors Run where she met Fred Thompson), 2nd through 6th at Pomeroy Elementary (Sugar Run hollow), 7th and 8th at Pomeroy Junior High, 9th through 12th at Meigs High where she was active in many extra curricular activities especially the band. P.S. There was no Kindergarten!

Marcy studied Business Office Education and she used those skills to earn a living throughout her life. A high school job at the Dairy Valley, a stint as a volunteer for the Ohio Mental Health System, the License Bureau (car tags at Paul Simons shoe store), the City Loan, the Jones Boys grocery, back to the City Loan, off some to raise babies, the Galliapolis Parts Warehouse, BACK to the City Loan, lots of hard work for the Racine Fire Dept. Ladie's Auxillary. Let us not forget the hard work of raising children and Fred.

When we moved to NC she worked at a bank, a Dr's office, the Selee Corp offices, ran the office for an electrical contractor, and she earned her way to being the Service Manager at DiBoCo Fire Sprinklers. Again raising children, Grandchildren, and Fred.

Marcy enjoyed camping, white water rafting, cooking (and eating), her kids, Grands, touring, acting, stage managing, motorcycling, entertaining family and friends, music, the arts, she liked to work and she liked to sit on the porch and watch the World go buy.

Gather up the Kleenex, some popcorn and a drink, watch the video.......and please add a photo, testimony,story, comment....Marcy had many friends!!!
